Day 20

Forty Days of Preparation Daily Devotions

Day Twenty
By the Stripes of Jesus I Am Healed

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Healing is a part of God's plan of redemption. Healing belongs to the child of God. The scripture says by Jesus stripes you were healed. That is a completed work of Christ. The Lord was whipped taking stripes upon His body so that our bodies might be healed; therefore, healing is a covenant right for Christians. Say out loud now, By the Stripes of Jesus I Am Healed. I have divine health! Now give God praise for your healing. Fight against sickness and disease with your whole being.

A. Healing is a Part of God's Plan of Redemption.

 D. Speak Your Faith.
2 Cor 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed,
and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

E. Give God Thanks for Healing.
Luke 17:15-17 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

F. Resist Sickness and Disease.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
