A Word in Season Day 29

 Youth Renewed Like the Eagle's

Ps 103:5 ...so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Eagles are known to go through a process known as molting, so they can be renewed. In this process they pluck out old feathers, file away broken beaks and claws. They become weak and helpless when they are waiting for the renewal or healing. They have to survive this process so that their strength will be renewed to their youthful level or above.

Ps 118:24 "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we[I] will rejoice and be glad in it." Today, I celebrate my 58th birthday. I have experienced the wears and tears of life. However, the Lord has renewed my youth. I believe He will continue to renew my youth. I believe this is a benefit of serving the Lord. I thank Him for keeping me through the years. I give God thanks for health and strength. My best is yet to come. My strength is renewed.

Prayer Focus: Father, I thank you for renewing my youth like that of an eagle. Thank you for divine health.

Verse of the Day: Isa 40:29-31 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.   Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:   But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Living the Word Today: Join me in faith as I boldly confess my youth is renewed. I will not use age as an excuse. I resist the negative effects of aging.
